PuroSPIN™ ccfDNA MAXI (10 mL sample volume) Purification Kit is designed for purification of circulating DNA from plasma or serum sources. Plasma/Serum Cell-Free Circulating DNA (cfc-DNA) has emerged as a valuable source of biomarkers for cancer, autoimmune diseases, and prenatal testing. Advances in this field are enabling its use in early diagnosis, prognosis, and therapy monitoring for various cancers and immune-related conditions. Cell-free mitochondrial DNA (cfmtDNA) is also being explored for its clinical relevance. Typically, cfc-DNA exists as short fragments under 1000 bp. In prenatal applications, cell-free fetal DNA is widely used for non-invasive testing, including fetal sex determination, genetic screening in high-risk families, Rhesus factor typing, aneuploidy detection, and early identification of preeclampsia.
