PuroSPIN-96™ Plant Genomic DNA Purification Plus Kit

The PuroSPIN-96™ Plant Genomic DNA Purification Plus Kit is a high throughput method designed to purify genomic DNA from variety of plant species and tissues types. The kit greatly simplifies the purification process by incorporating a convenient and easy-to-use extraction technology based on nucleic acid binding to a silica membrane assembled in each well of a 96-well plate. Use of the silica membrane for purififcation, eliminates the toxic phenol-chloroform extraction or time consuming alcohol precipitation.

In comparison to our standard PuroSPIN-96™ Plant Genomic DNA Purificatio Kit, the Plus kit adds an additional 96-well plate filtration step that removes the insoluble and non-digested fraction from the lysate before loading it onto the 96-well silica spin column plate. The 96-well plate filtration replaces precipitation of insoluble fraction by centrifugation, which signfificantly simplifies and speeds up the 96-well plate format purification process.
