PuroScript™ RT First Strand cDNA Synthesis Kit With RNase Inhibitor

PuroScript™ RT First Strand cDNA Synthesis Kit employs a modified mutant reverse transcriptase to efficiently synthesize first-strand cDNA using total RNA or mRNA as a template. It includes all necessary reagents to generate high-quality cDNA and provides two types of primers for synthesis: Random Hexamer Primers and Oligo(dT)₁₈ Primers. The resulting single-stranded cDNA can be used directly in PCR or qPCR applications.

The PuroScript RT is a mutant reverse transcriptase derived from M-MLV via in vitro evolutionary screening. It lacks RNase H activity, preventing RNA degradation in the RNA/DNA hybrid during cDNA synthesis, thereby maximizing cDNA yield and length. Compared with the wild-type enzyme, PuroScript RT exhibits improved thermal stability and cDNA synthesis efficiency.

It efficiently synthesizes cDNA at 42–65 °C, with reverse transcription possible in as little as 5 minutes, making it particularly suitable for RNA templates with complex secondary structures.

The kit includes RNase Inhibitor to ensure RNA integrity during the reaction.

Store at -20 °C, valid for 12 months. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
