Sodium Bicarbonate Buffer (1M, pH 8.5) is widely used to maintain pH stability in cell culture media and as a reagent in various molecular biology and biochemical applications. These include nucleic acid extraction, oligonucleotide purification, tryptic protein digestion, as well as ion-exchange chromatography and electrophoresis of biomolecules.
