10X TAE Buffer, 500mL / 1L

Tris-Acetate-EDTA (TAE) Buffer is commonly used in molecular biology, particularly in agarose gel electrophoresis, to maintain pH and bind metal ions. It consists of tris base, acetic acid, and EDTA, and functions effectively within a pH range of 8.1 to 8.4. This buffer aids in the separation of nucleic acids and can be used either as a running buffer or incorporated into agarose gels.
